My husband is the one with the stroke. But I have to care about my life also. I've been emotionally drained too often. I have to start making more time for fun or relaxing stuff for me. It took me several months to accept this. But I'll burn out if I don't.

Barbara, I'm glad you've come to this conclusion. You would have been dragged under emotionally if you continued to be so focused on your husband and not yourself.

So tell us, what are you going to do for yourself tonight and tomorrow, and the days after that?
