CareWell’s advanced training is led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Nutritionist, covering mobility, movement, nutrition, risk prevention, sleep, and special conditions.
Our services include companion care, personal care, hygiene care, memory care, nutritional support, movement support, light housekeeping, post-surgical support, mobility support, transportation assistance, chronic illness care, recovery care and assistance with physical therapy routines, all provided by certified, trained, and caring professionals. Meet Our Founders
Dr. Mark Huntsinger PT, DPT and Yola Robert, FDN-P are a husband and wife team that started CareWell out of their own necessity and personal experiences. Dr. Huntsinger has had his own Los Angeles-based practice working with patients and their caregivers for over a decade. Dr. Huntsinger was always involved in training and supporting his patients' caregivers. He was also often asked if he knew hard-working, caring caregivers by his patients and their family members. At the time, he only knew the ones that were already working with his patients, and he recognized a need for more accessible, expertly trained caregivers in Los Angeles and Orange County. Because of this experience, Dr. Huntsinger is very passionate about connecting well-trained, hard-working caregivers with the clients who need them most. He also understands the importance of continuity between the same caregiver and the client. When Yola was diagnosed with Lupus and 14+ other co-conditions, Dr. Huntsinger became Yola’s caregiver as they found it very difficult to find care for her specific conditions. As Yola regained health, function and returned to work as a Functional Nutritionist and Certified Pilates Instructor, she and Dr. Huntsinger felt strongly and passionately about helping other individuals and families navigate care while also providing professional caregivers with expert training and tools that allow them to provide superior care to clients. Each CareWell caregiver is provided training above and beyond industry standards to ensure clients with special conditions, such as orthopedic and neurological conditions, are at lower risk of injury, falls, and are supported for their overall wellbeing. In between Dr. Huntsinger and Yola’s clinical and client-facing expertise, paired with their own journey around receiving care, they are here to help make life easier for CareWell clients and their families.
