Find Care & Housing
My dad didn’t have Alzheimer’s but we had a helper who proved invaluable. We agreed for dad to shower while she was there, he could do it independently, but she was nearby for safety. She did his laundry, often washing and changing sheets. She made his breakfast and lunch and prepped a dinner before she left. She took him to appointments and on errands. She read to him and talked with him. She did some very light cleaning such as sweeping, but her focus was him, not the house.
