My parents are at my house during the day while I'm at work, and even a simple phone call can confuse them so I'm skeptical that they could call me in an emergency. I'm looking for recommendations for a simple medical alert system that they could wear on their wrists or as a necklace. Thanks.
The Medical Guardian rep I spoke with was very courteous, told me all about the service they could provide, what my wife didn’t need (locator button for when traveling away from home—just call 911: they will find you.)
My wife has a button on a necklace she puts on in the morning and takes off at bed time. It’s waterproof. She could shower with it but doesn’t. She tests the system once a month which helps keep everything up to date.
I feel better when I’m out shopping that she has access to help because of her Medical Guardian alert button should she fall or need help in some other way while I’m away.
Hope this helps. Shop around. There are several systems out there and I’m sure you will find one that works for your parents.
