This isn’t a question. I wanted to share a phone that I just bought my elderly father. It is a vtech sns147 it has large buttons and programmable memory buttons. Great for seniors. You can insert pictures in the memory buttons. Just push the image and it will call the number assigned to it. There are also cordless receivers available separately that have 4 memory buttons that are programmable. That product is vtech sn5307. Though this might be helpful to those who are having phone issues.

Thanks so much. A great tip. Hope you will be at the ready when this question is asked again. Meanwhile I am adding this to my own notes so I can recommend in the future.
Thanks again!

Thanks for that info.

Here's what we've had for my MIL with memory impairment in LTC:

Future Call Big Button Phone (landline)

And for my Mom I got her a RAZ mobility phone (mobile phone) and the caregiver controls all the funtions from an app. So far it's been really good: no more solicitation calls, scammers. Uses "big button pictures" for her to call out.
