How does the POA read? Are you the only one assigned by Dad or do you share the responsibility with the others. Are you a co-POA or a secondary, meaning you take over when the main POA can no longer do his/her duties.

Really need to know this info before we can really answer ur questions.

When you say you're "on the POA" - what sort of POA, and what do you mean by 'on' it?

If you are your father's legally appointed healthcare representative the care home must answer your requests for information when you contact them. Are you calling them or are you waiting for them to call you?

Is there any reason you know of why your siblings don't share information with you?

I'm on the POA but they say they'll only contact a maximum of two people who should then pass on all the information.

Ok but who is the current POA? Is one sibling the POA with the rest as backups? Not that that matters much because even if all of the children hold current POA, the facility isn’t under any obligation to call each and every one. You should try to work this out with your siblings.

Are you listed as a person to get information? Due to HIPAA laws they may be restricted as to what they can say.
