The diet plans online are helpful but I want to get some advices from the experienced people who had faced the same situation. This is for my uncle and he also had pancreatic swelling before and since then, his abdominal region has been unwell. The doctors here didn't give us any kind of specifications or the diet plan to follow along. This is why I need help from the advices who were in the same situation. Thank you for your time for reading and please answer.
Since Gallstones are the problem, there is really no special diet. But some people can't eat after the surgery what they couldn't eat before. Me, I seem to suffer from not producing enough bile. So small meals are recommended. I am finding that greasy foods effect me. So no more sausage, scrapple or bacon or fried foods. Chocolate effects some people.
I think you just need to experiment. Both my parents had their gallbladders removed when they had gallstones. Neither had a special diet. If there were foods that bothered Uncle before, introduce them back into his diet and see if it effects him. If so, you know he can't eat that.
If he is having problems in other areas, a diet plan maybe needed for them. So, I agree, that you need to talk to his doctor about his diet.
There are some questions that belong in the realm of the experts. Legal needs the attorney. Medical needs the doctor.
I sure wish all the best going forward.
