My mom has advanced Parkinson's and dementia and can only get around on wheelchair and has difficulty eating. Every Sunday our routine is church then the mall for lunch but it’s getting tiring to do the same week after week and specially during nice weather days. Any ideas on what else we can do for a couple of hours to break the routine occasionally and that she would enjoy?

The arboretum in our area has handicap and wheelchair friendly paths. They have an outdoor cafe. Some zoos have programs for elders. Some museums are open with air conditioning. Some parks host concerts outdoors in summer. Check with Area Agency on aging and they may have list.

Some local communities and librairies also publish calendars of events.

What did she enjoy doing years ago before PD and dementia entered the picture?
E.g., if she enjoyed movies or documentaries, take her to a movie (although they're quite expensive these days), or get DVDs and have a home motion show.
