Find Care & Housing
I would kill myself before working at an assisted living. All employees no matter the business want a fair wage, insurance and to be respected. The problem is there is demand in certain industries, caregiving, restaurants, etc. where the big dogs, per say, can add a few dollar bonus per hour premium pay as well as sign on bonuses....smaller companies cannot compete.

I will say that there is a big turnover in the ALs in my area. Actually CNAs going from one to the other. For me to be a CNA in an AL? The ratio between aides and patients should be workable. A good wage, at least $15 an hour and good benefits.

By providing good staffing. By following up with all employees to make certain they were capable, competent and above all, KIND. That's how they would keep me.
